The Sun Server Safe

 The Sun Safe Server Safe is a high security enclosure designed in conjunction with Sun Microsystems for the protection of their range of servers.

The Sun Server Safe is the first vented server safe to be certified to LPCB LPS 1214 Category 2 (equivalent to SEAP Class 2) a standard recognised by  and Secured by Design.

Constructed for steel the Sun System Vault or Safe provides not only protection but enables computer equipment to be stored and operated at the correct working temperature. Clients have the additional re-assurance that this is the only server safe to have suceessfully undergone ventilation tests by Sun Microsystems and been approved.

Sun Safe Safe Construction

3mm thick steel sides and 4mm thick steel box section, with no visible fixings 
 
 
 
 
 
                                 

 

Sun Server Safe Door and Grid Sections

Ventilated top, bottom and door sections are manufactured from 5mm x 25mm thick steel grids.The front and rear doors permit approximately 60% free air space and include heavy duty hinges and integral dog bolts.

 

 

 

Sun Server System Locking

Each door has a minimum of two deadlocks that can by keyed alike or individually.

Sun Server Safe Finish 

Sun System Vaults are finishe in a fine textured polyester powder coating in mid-grey and purple (RAL No. 7024 & RAL No. 4005). A wide range of other finishes and colours are available. Please see the Bradbury Colour Chart. 

Sun Server Safe Installation 

The Sun Safe comes in component form and is assemble on site, by our specialist installers. Installation can be arranged in or out of office hours to suit client needs.
