Newton Doors Joins Bradbury Security
Bradbury Group has completed the purchase of Ayrshire based Newton Security Doors with a 100% share holding. This is the conclusion of a process which began last year with Bradbury purchasing 35% of Newton shares. The acquisition will extend Bradbury’s market share in the communal entrance sector and market presence in Scotland.

The Newton Doors team brings a wealth of expertise and experience in the design and manufacture of attractive glazed doors and entranceways. Newton is particularly strong in the local authority sector with door designs already approved by local councils and certified to the required PAS 23/24.

Newton Security Doors represents a significant addition to the Bradbury Group and an important element of the Group’s future growth. In response to the acquisition, Bradbury’s External Sales, Contract Management and Installation Teams will be considerably enhanced to cover the length and breadth of the UK. Ordering Online

Bradbury’s innovative online door quotation and ordering system, which provides an immediate quote and scale drawing, is saving both customers and Bradbury time in the ordering / engineering process.

The system enables Bradbury to directly convert order data into program data for our manufacturing equipment and reduces opportunities for human error. These cost savings are passed on to online customers in the form of a 5% discount for all doors ordered in this way. Users are also delighted with the speed and efficiency of the process.

Online ordering is suitable for customers purchasing significant volumes of M2M+ doors and the 5% discount is available on subsequent orders after the first £5000 of orders (excl. VAT) have been placed online. This is to provide a contribution to the high cost of each customer software license. For more information call Bradbury’s Door Sales team on 01724 271999.

M2M Steel Doors Top of the Class

A unique hinge chassis system (patent pending) makes the Bradbury M2M Steel Door Range, the strongest steel security doors of their class.

As the leading UK security door manufacturer, Bradbury Security has developed the M2M Steel Door Range for all personnel, fire exit and storage applications. Managing Director Tim Strawson explains how the hinge chassis system addresses the intrinsic weakness in traditionally designed doors, “The weight of a door, particularly a steel door makes it vulnerable to sagging and bowing around the hinges and in the event of an attack it is not uncommon for doors to be jemmied out from the hinge side. The hinge chassis system within the door frame greatly increases the rigidity and hence strength of the door.
