Loss Prevention Certification Board
The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) is a UKAS body. Bradbury Security as part of Bradbury Group Ltd has complied with the requirements identified in ISO 9001:2008 for the design, manufacture and installation of physical security products. In addition to Company quality standards the LPCB provide quality independent third party testing of security products. 'IF YOU SPECIFY LPCB APPROVED SECURITY PRODUCTS YOU WILL REDUCE THE RISK TO YOU AND YOUR PROPERTY' from break-in attempts by opportunistic or experienced criminal and also terrorists.
LPCB Certified Doors
Bradbury Security's M2M1 steel door range is certified by the LPCB to LPS1175 Security Rating 1 and the M2M3 Range is certified to LPS1175 Security Rating 3.
LPCB testing of steel doors to the industry standard of LPS1175 involves deliberate forced entry with arange of attack tools over a set period. The range of tools and time period is determined by the security level required. Regular auditing also ensures that 
approved products continue to comply with the relevant standard.
It is important to be aware that door and hardware combinations must be tested together for a door to be certified and testing undertaken independently bu the LPCB. BEWARE OF FAKES - some companies mislead customers by referring to uncertified doors by a Level or Security Rating. If a door has not been tested by the LPCB it is not certified and thereforedoes not come with the same assurances.
LPCB Certified Security Grilles
The CX2 has been independently tested by the LPCB to the industry standard of LPS1175 Security Rating 1. This means the security grille meets the full technical requirements - resisting a series of professional attacks.Certified grills are authenticated with a plaque on the lockpost. Furthermore choosing a correctly installed product that carries the CERTIFIRE mark provides specifiers and builiding owners with a powerful demonstration of due diligence.
For full certification to be awarded Bradbury's M2M+FD, M2M1FD, M2M2FD and M2M3FD were subjected to a furnace test by Exova Warringtonfire withstanding temperatures of up to 1100oC for a period in excess of 4 hours. In addition Bradbury Security's quality management system was was independently audited to ensure consistent quality and standards are maintained.
Secured by Design
Bradbury Security is a Secured by Design Licensed Company. Secured by Design is an initiative managed by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO). Secured by Design linceses are awarded to those companies and products that meet their recognised standards. (www.securedbydesign.com)
